Our hamlet is located in the village of Krambitan, in Tabanan Regency, on the West Coast of Bali. It is reachable by car from South Bali (Sanur, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Seminyak or Ubud) in approximately 90 minutes. Located to the southwest of Tabanan, Krambitan is set amidst beautiful rice terraces, 20 minutes from the sea, still relatively off the beaten track of mass tourism. Tabanan was one of the eight former kingdoms of Bali. A royal family still lives in Krambitan. The princes are still highly respected by the local people.
We offer a range of eco-friendly experiences either at the lodge or in a natural hideaway nearby, surrounded by forest. We wish to give guests an opportunity to discover our peaceful countryside environment, as well as local habitat, architecture, arts and traditional way of life without interrupting everyday activities. Stroll or ride along back roads and paths, visit villagers in their homes, watch the work of local craftsmen and farmers working in the rice fields, and take time to admire religious processions or temple ceremonies along the way, taste local delicacies at the market, or during a delicious traditional meal cooked by yourself. Our aim is primarily to contribute to the preservation of Balinese life, traditions, and culture. It is part of our sustainable development philosophy
